Kansas Post and Rail Fencing
Board (aka post and rail) fencing is a popular choice for ranches and equine facilities. It’s an attractive and cost effective option. These fences can be made of wood or vinyl, with 3-4 horizontal rails. Wood versions can optionally be painted. While this type of horse fence requires more maintenance (particularly the wood option) than a wire fence, it has a classic country style that is hard to match.
Horse Rail Fences
This is a long-lasting vinyl fence that requires very little maintenance. This option combines vinyl boards and high tensile wire. It is highly visible, and very durable, so horses will be safe and secure. The tensile wire is much stronger than woven wire, and provides far more flexibility.
Woven wire fencing is very durable, and has good visibility. Wire is intertwined vertically and horizontally, so horses are not able to push through the material. This option typically costs less than other fencing.
